The Edo State Government through its Ministry of Health has collaborated with the John Hopkins Programme for International Education in Gynecology & Obstetrics (JHPIEGO) at the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) in organizing a workshop to train frontline workers on improving the quality of maternal and child healthcare in the State.
The commissioner of Health appreciated USAID on behalf of the state. “I appreciated USAID on behalf of the state admonished the participants to see the training as a sure way of building their capacity for effective service delivery in their places of primary assignments.”
